It has been almost a month since my last update. Sorry about that...been super busy and haven't really had time to do anything.....

PLAYER  AVG  RBI  HR  SLG  OPS
X  .352  52  14  .568  .975
Y  .365  64  10  .528  .972

Before we get started....take a look at the numbers above and tell me who is truely better. And if one is "so much" better than the other, is he so much better that he deserves tons of credit whereas noone mentions the other guy? Take a look at the numbers and just think about it for a second or two...

time for some short quick jokes...
Two gay men decide to have a baby. They mix their sperm, then have a surrogate mother artificially inseminated. When the baby is born, they rush to the hospital. Two dozen babies are in the ward, 23 of which are crying and screaming. One, over in the corner, is smiling serenely.

A nurse comes by, and to the gays' delight, she points out the happy child as theirs.

"Isn't it wonderful?" Neil says to Bob. "All these unhappy children, and ours is so happy."

The nurse says, "He's happy now. But just wait until we take the pacifier out of his butt."

A jewish guy is driving to work one day... he starts looking for a parking space and notices he's gonna be late... there's no parking anywhere- he looks up at the sky and says to god: "dear lord I promise that if u help me find a parking space i'll start eating only kosher food, rest on saturday and do all the mitzvas i'm suppoused to..." 5 seconds later he finds a parking space... he looks up at the sky again: "dear god, never mind- I found one on my own"

now...a comparison

JOE MAUER VS BRIAN MCCANN

How many times do catchers lead the league in batting? Rare...very rare. How often does the AL and NL batting champ each play the catcher position? Never. It will happen this year. Here is my issue now....everyone raves and ohh and awes over Joe Mauer...but nobody mentions Brian McCann? Lets throw up some stats

PLAYER  AVG  RBI  HR  SLG  OPS
 McCann  .352  52  14  .568  .975
 Mauer  .365  64  10  .528  .972

McCann is only batting a few points lower (and nothing is wrong with .352) and have more homers and a better slugging and ops (slugging  + on base percentage). Mauer has more RBIs but that is because McCann has spent time on the 15 day DL and Mauer has played 14 games at DH (stupid rule).
And remember...Brian McCann is younger...
